How to create Presets

Once you've set up the table to meet your specific needs, you have the option to save the table state as a preset. This allows you to avoid resetting filters every time you access the table, and instead switch between presets and various settings based on your specific needs at any given time.

Before creating a preset, you'll need to customize your table based on your individual needs. This includes setting up sorting options, filters, column visibility and order, and pinning or un-pinning columns as necessary. After you've completed these preparations, you can save your customized settings to a preset. To do this, simply click the "Presets" button and then select the "+ Presets" option. From there, you can specify a name and select a color for the preset in the "Save Table Preset" pop-up window. Finally, when you've completed these steps, click the "Submit" button to save your preset.

Once you've created a preset, a button with your specified name and color will appear at the top left corner of the table. Additionally, there will be a "Reset" button that allows you to quickly return your table to its default state if needed. When you select a preset, the corresponding button will be bordered to indicate that it is currently active.

While you may initially think that creating and saving a preset is the end of the process, over time you may accumulate a large quantity of presets and find that you need quick access to your most frequently used ones. This is where sorting your presets comes in handy. By clicking the "Presets" button and dragging your desired presets to the top of the list, you can ensure that your favorite presets are always within reach. The first five presets in the list will be visible at the top left corner of your table, and the first preset in the list will be applied to the table by default after the first page render.

If you find that you need to make changes to a preset, such as updating the name or color or deleting an unused preset altogether, you can easily do so by clicking the "Presets" button and selecting the option to edit or delete the desired preset from the window that appears.

Users can create presets everywhere when they see the “Presets” button at the top of the table.
